this effect, which I know as the "chris franke trill", & best heard on side one (of the vinyl!) of "stratosfear", is something I regard as the standard test of any new analogue sequencer.
I haven't managed to wring this effect out of the sequencer in "reason" but even the little 8-step sequencer in the vostok matrixsynth is capable of it with a bit of patching.

obviously, in the zeit's case, the way to go is the per-step effects send & the midi effects section. a two note repeat with no modification to the note number or velocity, & the repeat-delay turned right down will do the trick, although you may need to experiment with the delay time depending on your master tempo settings. it seems to work with "sync" on & the shortest delay setting selected ("semiquaver"?).

this maybe belongs in the "techniques" section- I'm sure david will migrate it if necessary.
